Army pays tribute to solider killed Pulwama encounter | KNO

Army today paid befitting tributes to its comrade who made the supreme sacrifice during Counter militant operations in Pulwama on 06 Nov 2017 during which three militants were killed. In a solemn ceremony at BB Cantt, Lt Gen JS Sandhu, Corps Commander, Chinar Corps and all ranks paid homage to the martyr on behalf of a proud nation. In a show of solidarity, officials and representatives from the State Government and other security agencies also joined in paying their last respects to the martyr. Late Sep Vrahma Pal Singh sustained bullet injury during the fierce operation at Kandi Aglar in Pulwama District. He was provided immediate first aid and evacuated to 92 BH, but succumbed to the injuries. Martyr Sep Vrahma Pal Singh, 30 years of age, had joined Army in 2004 and hailed from Village Shaujana Rani located in Bulandshahar district of Uttar Pradesh. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and a three year old son. The mortal remains of the martyr were flown for last rites to his native place, where he would be laid to rest with full military honours. In this hour of grief, the Army stands in solidarity with the bereaved family of the martyr and remains committed to their dignity and well being.
